Thermal Bridging CPD Approved for Ireland

Marmox is pleased to announce that our highly regarded CPD on Reducing Thermal Bridging at Wall-Floor Junctions is now approved for Irish architects by the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI)

As sustainability takes center stage and regulations push toward zero carbon goals, continuous insulation is becoming a key priority in construction.

This updated CPD has been specifically rewritten for the Irish market and examines the critical role of reducing thermal bridging at wall-floor junctions. It explores various compliance options within the framework of current and proposed Technical Guidance Document L (TGD-L), which focuses on improving energy efficiency. A central feature of the CPD is the introduction of thermal bridging blocks, highlighting their role in minimising heat loss and enhancing building performance.

In person or a virtual presentation

The CPD is available for delivery both in-person and over Teams, providing flexibility to meet the needs of busy professionals. With the growing demand for innovative solutions that meet the stringent energy-saving requirements, Marmox remains committed to supporting the architecture community in Ireland with practical and compliant solutions.
